ERP in Via Cupa

The public housing redevelopment project for the building located at Via Cupa No. 69 in Montoro includes interventions aimed at improving seismic safety, energy efficiency, and the quality of public spaces. The structural interventions will include the reinforcement of beam-column joints using carbon fiber materials (FRP) and the installation of anti-overturning devices for infill walls. The energy measures will aim to upgrade the building from energy class F to class A3, through the optimization of thermal insulation and the implementation of innovative solar shading systems. The solar shading systems, designed to reduce thermal load and improve indoor comfort, will include flexible brise-soleil that protect against direct sunlight without compromising natural light. The redevelopment of public spaces will include the creation of equipped urban gardens, accessible pedestrian pathways, play areas, and green spaces furnished with eco-sustainable elements. Rainwater harvesting systems, energy-efficient lighting installations, and water-saving solutions will be introduced as part of a comprehensive and sustainable redevelopment of the entire area.
