The historic complex of Fontevecchia is currently a site of great historical and monumental interest for both tourists and the citizens of Fermo. The tender-based project involves the restoration of the complex for the creation of museums. For these reasons, after preparing the technical proposal that secured the contract award, BIM-Lab.net Project supported the executing company in the development of both the final and executive design phases. It also assisted the lead firm, Studio Gucciardini e Magni Architetti, in surveying the existing conditions through laser scanner and photogrammetric surveys, and in the creation of both the as-is and design BIM models. This process ensured the minimization of clashes and unforeseen issues even before the execution phase began, fully complying with the technical and performance specifications outlined in the technical and economic feasibility study.
