Description
The activity involved the digitization and development of BIM models for the infrastructure works related to “Lot H81 – Fortezza Station, Upgrade of the Munich–Verona Railway Axis, Brenner Base Tunnel,” using Autodesk software platforms.
The models were developed by converting the CAD drawings provided by the Client into the BIM environment using Autodesk Revit (for civil works) and Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D (for infrastructure works), in accordance with specific Levels of Development (LOD).
In detail, four digital models were developed: two structural models containing the digitization of civil works, such as diaphragm walls and Berlin-type retaining walls; another model representing the structure known as the “monolith”; an infrastructure model representing the digital model of infrastructure works, including roads and minor retaining structures; and finally, a digital terrain model (DTM).
Finally, the models were federated into a single coordination file.
